In 2021, the Seed Sovereignty Programme launched the Tiny Oat Collider – an open-source dehuller – at our first Seed Gathering to address a persistent problem for oat growers in our networks – how do we dehull our oats without the use of large, expensive machinery?

The Winnow Wizard is a density seed separator widely used by small seed producers in the US. Along with Adam Veitch and funding from the Pebble Trust, Seeds of Scotland has adapted the US open-source Winnow Wizard plans to UK requirements.
